Stargazing

Dad was watching for satelites last night and he saw 3! One of them was an iridium flare--and we hadn't even been looking for it!

Autumn skies are wonderful. You can see so many many stars.

When pigs fly

We had a discussion this morning about pigs.
Do they fly?
They don't look like can fly.
But we've heard it said.
When pigs fly.

Very confusing

Prediction of Rain

Rain

no rain

~~
This morning at Socrates Club we had to sit with the back door closed. It was supposed to rain this morning. But no rain came.

Who decides these things? What makes them think they can outsmart nature?

You only know it's raining when it's raining--you can't predict these things.

Labor Day

The air smells very nice this afternoon. It is Labor Day and it's quiet in the neighborhood. A couple people are mowing the lawns. There are a few bird songs.

But mostly it's a gentle cool breeze that ever so slightly musses my fur.

I like September.

I think . . . .

Life is about connecting with friends and family.
Life is about being real.
Life is about sharing stories, laughter and art.
Life is about love.
Life is about friendship.
Life is about holding each other when you're scared or sad and feeling the support and caring that heals things up.
Life is about mistakes.
And it's about healing.
And it's about learning.
Life long learning.
